I am Ankit Garg, 39, from Rohini, New Delhi. I completed my B.Com. from the University of Delhi and run Yarn Manufacturers, a yarn manufacturing unit in the Narela Industrial Area. Since 2011 I have been an active worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
My political journey began in 2011, when Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji was the National President of the BJP. After Shri Narendra Modi Ji became Prime Minister in 2014, the organisation found a new energy, a new josh and a clear vision for nation-building. With the resolve of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, I have worked continuously for the organisation and for society.
What I stand on
Three words explain almost everything I do — seva, sanskar and sangathan.
Seva
Service to people in need, with no discrimination of caste, religion or background.
Sanskar
Carrying forward the tradition of social service inherited from my family and my grandfather.
Sangathan
The organisation comes first — a karyakarta works where the party places him, without asking.

Ramleela Committee, Sector-6 Rohini
Senior Vice President for the past 6 years — organising the annual Ramleela and the cultural life of the sector.
Samriddh Samaj Foundation, Rohini Sector-10
Senior Vice President — an active role in social and religious programmes across Rohini.
Lakshmi Taru Foundation
General Secretary for the past 3 years — the organisation behind the record-setting blood donation campaign.

Zila Vice President (Yuva Morcha) — Booth Sammelan, Bharatiya Janata Party, Delhi Pradesh. Mandal N Rohini B, Vidhan Sabha 6, District North-West.
“Booth jeeta, chunav jeeta” — the sammelan at IG Stadium on 23 December 2018 where booth-level karyakartas of Delhi Pradesh came together. Organisational strength is built at the booth, not on a stage.
