A vision is only as good as
the work behind it.
In 2014, when Shri Narendra Modi Ji became Prime Minister, the organisation witnessed a renewed spirit, a new enthusiasm and a strong vision for nation-building. Inspired by the resolve of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, I have worked continuously for the organisation and for society.
At the district level, a vision has to become a calendar — camps that happen, files that move, people who get help. The eight commitments on this page are written the way I would want them read back to me a year later.
Serving people in need, without any discrimination of caste or religion, is the core value of my public life.
What I am working on
Each commitment lists the actual work it means — so progress can be measured, not just announced.
Seva Before Self
- Help every family in need — without caste, religion or party colour.
- Keep the seva calendar running through the year, not only before elections.
- Grow the volunteer network so help reaches within hours, not days.
Child Safety — Especially Our Girls
- Free self-defence training for children in schools, with a focus on girls.
- Good-touch / bad-touch and safety awareness sessions run with the Delhi Police.
- Safe routes to school — lighting, patrolling and a helpline every child knows.
- Train teachers and parents so a child always has someone to speak to.
Safe and Empowered Women
- Continue awareness drives with Delhi Police on safety and self-defence.
- Self-defence workshops for schoolgirls, college students and working women.
- Skill and self-employment support so every woman has her own income.
- Better lighting and patrolling in the colonies that ask for it.
Better Education for Every Child
- Free coaching and library support for children who cannot afford tuition.
- Books, uniforms and fee help so no child leaves school over money.
- Digital-literacy and spoken-English classes for government-school students.
- Recognise and reward the toppers of every mandal, every year.
Health for Every Family
- Repeat the mega blood donation camp every year and grow the donor base.
- Regular health check-up and eye camps in Rohini and Narela.
- Direct support to government hospitals and the Indian Army / AFTC.
Support for the Vyapaari
- Take the concerns of Narela’s industry and traders to the right desk.
- Simplify the everyday paperwork that slows small businesses down.
- Build a stronger link between trade associations and the district administration.
Gau Seva and Green Delhi
- Regular feed, shelter and treatment support for cows and street animals.
- Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam — plantation drives with follow-up care, not just photos.
- Clean-up and waste-segregation drives with RWAs.
Youth, Sports and Skills
- Sports tournaments and fitness drives through the Delhi Youth Club.
- Skill and interview-preparation sessions for job-seeking youth.
- Recognition for young achievers from every mandal.
Respect for Our Protectors
- Continue felicitating Delhi Police officers and jawans for their service.
- Support for Indian Army welfare initiatives, including blood supply.
- Community programmes that bring police and residents to the same table.
Sanskriti and Sanskar
- Ramleela, bhandaras and festival programmes that hold the colony together.
- Support for temples, religious committees and cultural societies.
- Passing our traditions to the next generation with pride.
“Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”
One India. A greater India. The resolve that carries every karyakarta from the booth to the district and beyond.
